A Change of Season

"All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves..." Anatole France

The wind comes up and churns the sea- can you smell the salt spray? This season, I am preparing to leave this place, trying to get a lot of work done and trying to spend as much time as I can with the people who mean so much to me.

As I savor the time I have spent here, I look forward to a new adventure, a new and happy home. I have been too busy or too tired to get here very often, but I hope when I get settled I can share it all with you.

I love the Anatole France quote. We do leave part of ourselves behind with each bit of change. Beautiful photos.
