For the first time in a very long time- as long as I can remember, really- I am allowing myself to dream.Dreams were for other people, I always told myself- not for me.
Other people deserved to be happy, and I was always happy to see them succeed in getting what they wanted out of life. I just figured that for me, some things just were not meant to be. I just tried to be content with my lot in life, and be as happy as I could under the circumstances- which, honestly, were pretty miserable sometimes.
But of course that's just crazy. Maybe in the past, not getting my hopes up worked for me... but not anymore.
After all, who am I NOT to have a better life?
Yes, I am worthy of that.
And so are you.

Thanks, Holly- I have been going through a major change, and had computer troubles to boot, I will be posting sporadically but hopefully more often than I was. I've missed you and my other blogging friends.

I love to dream, and I also like to write them down, for future reference, it makes me laugh sometimes when I re-read what I logged as something merely trivial and later came back to see what more is always revealed.

I think it is important to dream for ourselves not just the ones we love. I do not do it enough myself.

Hi Jess- I used to keep journals of my dreams, and analyse them- they are fascinating... interesting how they make perfect sense in retrospect!
Fooseberry- thank you. It is so hard to focus on ourselves and what WE want sometimes. Life just gets so demanding and everyone needs us. I hope you get some time to dream too... very soon!
